Residential driveways are typically 100mm thick over a compacted base, increasing to 125-150mm with steel mesh where heavier vehicles use them. We confirm the right spec after looking at your soil and access.
All concrete can develop fine hairline cracks as it cures. We control this with proper base compaction, reinforcement and control joints cut at the right spacing, so any movement happens where it will not be seen.
You can usually walk on it after a day or two and drive a car on it after about a week. We recommend keeping heavy vehicles off for the first month while it reaches full strength.
